Personal Training FAQ’s

HOW MANY TIMES PER WEEK DO WE MEET?

There is no set requirement. How often you choose to train will be based on a variety of factors that will  be discussed during your Initial Consultation. 

WHAT DOES TRAINING COST?

This will depend on the program, how many sessions you purchase at a time, if you are training alone or in a group etc.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL A SESSION?

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy in effect.  If you notify me more than 24 hours in advance that you will be going  to miss, there will be no charge or penalty for the missed session(s).

HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION?

Half hour and 55 minute training sessions are offered.

WILL HEALTH INSURANCE COVER FIT INTUIT SERVICES?

Usually not, but please check with your provider.

CAN I TRAIN WITH A FRIEND?

Absolutely! If you have 1-3 others that are interested in the same programming and are similar in fitness level, you can participate in small group training sessions.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Any comfortable clothing that doesn’t inhibit movement.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

 

A water bottle, sweat towel, a yoga mat and a notepad are all good ideas.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?

The first 5-7 minutes of session will be spent performing a dynamic warm up, preparing your body for the workout. The body of the workout (which will vary depending on your goals, fitness level, injuries etc) will be about 45 minutes and the last 5-7 minutes will be spent cooling down and stretching

DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S OK TO BEGIN TRAINING?

Certain health concerns will require a Physician’s Release before you begin your program. This should be able to be  discerned during your initial consult.

WHAT IS THE INITIAL TRAINING CONSULTATION?

The initial consultation is usually just a time for us to talk. Come ready to discuss your goals, past training experiences, any health concerns, diet, nutrition etc. We may do a postural evaluation and body composition measurements. From the information we cover, we will then be able to determine an appropriate training program for you. This is a great time for you to ask any questions you may have about Fit Intuit or Personal Training in general. 

I schedule an hour for the consultation. Sometimes they’re longer, sometimes shorter depending on the amount of information we need to cover.

Hypnotherapy FAQ’s

IS HYPNOTHERAPY MIND CONTROL?

 

Well, yes!  But not in the way most people mean.  It’s the client that learns how to control their own mind!  The client must cognitively agree to all suggestions for behavior change and can reject any suggestions that are not in his/her best interest.  Additionally, the client can halt the session at any point, even while in the Hypnotic state.

HOW MANY SESSIONS DOES IT TAKE?

​This varies greatly from person to person and from behavior to behavior. Most clients notice at least some changes after the first session and many choose to continue for additional concerns beyond what brought them to therapy originally.

WILL I REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I'M IN HYPNOSIS?

Again, this depends on the client but most remember most.  Beyond that, I send an MP3 of the session for the client to use in between sessions.

ARE THERE ANY DANGERS OF BEING IN HYPNOSIS?

No.  Hypnosis is an altered state of subconscious that everyone passes through on the way to sleep (unconscious) every night.  Even without guidance from the Therapist, the client will either wake up naturally…or fall asleep!

HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION?

The first Hypnotherapy session is 90-120 minutes, with subsequent sessions typically keeping to the 55 minute clinical hour.  Longer session are available for specific types of therapy protocols (such as Trauma Recovery or Past Life Regressions)

WHERE DO THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

The Hypnotherapy sessions take place at Fit Intuit in Bozeman. We also offer digital sessions through Skype, Facetime etc.
